The UltraStar™
line of strobe beacons were designed specifically for rugged
applications. The combination of a vibration-resistant strobe
tube, impact-resistant dome, and corrosion-resistant base make
UltraStar strobes long-lasting and exceptionally reliable. The
superior design of the UltraStar's Fresnel lens focuses light for
maximum visibility and complete "dome fill". All models are
multi-volt with high- and low- profile versions available. For
added effectiveness, each UltraStar model includes a self-adhesive
light shield that can be affixed to the top of the dome.
US5 - STROBE BEACON
US5 models are available with doubleflash (13 joule) or quadflash
(14 joule) power supplies. Permanent/pipe mount and magnetic mount
versions are available. US5 models meet SAE Class 1 with amber,
blue, or clear domes and meet SAE Class 2 with a red dome.
US3 - "HEAVY DUTY" STROBE BEACON
US3 models feature "potted" circuitry for reliable warning in the
harshest environments. These strobes have 8.5-joule doubleflash
power supplies. US3 models meet SAE Class 2.
US7 - "PREMIUM" STROBE BEACON (HIGH-PROFILE)
US7 models include an attached dust cover and automatic Hi-Lo
power adjustment. (The Hi-Lo feature may be converted to a manual
[switchable] adjustment.) Hi intensity mode produces a 21-joule
flash that meets SAE Class 1, and Lo intensity mode produces a
13-joule flash. All US7 models are quadflash and feature a tall
dome for increased visibility.
