MODEL 851 SERIES
The Model 851, high-profile, strobe beacons combine
high-performance power supplies, durable aluminum bases, and
impact-resistant, polycarbonate, domes to provide superior warning
in the harshest environments.
MODEL 851 PLUS
The Model 851 Plus utilizes a replaceable, helical strobe tube and
an optically superior, Fresnel, dome to maximize light output and
completely fill the dome. These strobes are multi-volt (12-48 VDC)
and use 12-joule power supplies for brilliant warning signals. All
851 Plus DC models feature an "open-style" aluminum base with a
flexible rubber mounting gasket.
All models are available in Single, Double, Triple, Quad, and
Quint flash versions and meet SAE J1318 Class 2 requirements.
Necessary mounting hardware is included with all models.
MODEL 851-RR
The Model 851-RR was designed specifically for use on railroad
locomotives. The Model 851-RR features a 10-joule, 72 VDC, power
supply with spike filter and extra vibration protection. A 1"
enclosed base and a clear polycarbonate dust cover are included to
provide the extra protection needed for railroad applications.
Necessary mounting hardware is included with Model 851-RR. This
strobe beacon has passed testing by General Motors/Electromotive
Division for use on locomotives.
